Shipping Policy

Damaged Merchandise:

It is important that you check your shipment right away for possible damage to your parts. If your order was damaged in shipment immediately notify your freight carrier, United Parcel Service, Federal Express or your local Post Office, whichever delivered the merchandise. Save all boxes and packaging material for their inspection. They will inform you if they wish to pick up the damaged goods. After notifying the carrier, UPS, FedEx or the Post Office, contact American Performance Products at 1-321-632-8299 with your name, invoice number and details of the problem.Do not return damaged merchandise directly without a return authorization RGA number from American Performance. NEVER return damaged merchandise without being instructed by us to do so. This may jeopardize the claim with the delivery company and/or our ability to replace it at no charge

Missing Merchandise:

Check the contents of the shipment box, package or envelope as soon as you receive it. Make sure that everything you ordered and paid for has been sent to you. Check each item against the yellow invoice that is sent with each shipment. If you find an article missing, check the invoice to be sure that it is not back-ordered or shipped directly from the manufacturer. If you determine that an item or items are missing, report the exception to us within 5 days by letter or phone. Enclose a copy of your sales invoice.

Wrong Articles:

If an item is sent incorrect or not what you expected and you wish to return it, you may do so within 14 days from date of shipment. Call American Performance for a return authorization RGA at 1-321-632-8299. Carefully repackage the item and return it to us insured via United Parcel or FedEx. If you choose to use the Postal Service, make sure the article is insured. Enclose a note of explanation for the return stating if the item is to be exchanged or if a refund is to be issued. Include a copy of your invoice. All returned items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Limited Warranty:

American Performance Products Company offers only the limited warranty supplied and administered by the particular manufacturer involved. Contact us for manufacturer's warranty information. Some obsolete parts are not warranted at all. The only guarantee with these particular obsolete parts is that you are satisfied with the part at the time of installation, or your money will be refunded. These obsolete parts have been kept to supply the need for antique vehicles only and the availability of such items is almost non-existent and replacement cannot be guaranteed. The limited warranty extended by the manufacturer does not cover losses due to shipping damage, improper handing or installation, abuse or accidents.

All prices and specifications are subject to change without notice due to continuing changes in product availability, manufacturer price fluctuations, shipping surcharges and other unpredictable factors.


Neither American Performance Products its suppliers, manufacturers or agents shall be liable in any way for any damage, loss, injury or other claims, resulting from the use or misuse, or inability to use any of our products. The buyer or user assumes liability of any kind connected with the use or application of our products. The foregoing is made in lieu of all warranties, expressed or implied. American Performance Products Co. sole responsibility shall be to replace whatever parts prove defective at their option.

Return Policy

Installed Parts:

Installed parts are not returnable. If the part is bent, scratched, cracked, is dirty or greasy, has missing parts such as original caps or tags, if fittings are stripped, rounded or missing, if lugs or tabs are missing, if the part has been painted or had fluid run through it, the part is not returnable.

Exchanges Only on Used Parts:

Because of the high cost of labor in locating, removing, cleaning and preparing parts for shipment, no refunds will be given on used parts. Used parts are sold on an "as is" basis only without warranty of any kind. We will exchange any used part with an identical or comparable used part,if available. All used parts must be returned within 14 days of the actual shipping date to you. No exchanges will be given beyond the 14-day period. All used parts and merchandise must be in the same good condition as when sent to you. An invoice and prior authorization must accompany all returns. Wrong parts ordered will incur additional shipping costs.

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges on New Parts:

American Performance Products offers full refunds, less shipping costs, for all merchandise returned within 14 days of the actual shipping date. No returns will be accepted without a prior return authorization. All returns must be assigned an RGA return authorization number and be sent freight or shipping prepaid. No collect or C.O.D. returns will be accepted. Wrong Parts ordered and all Warranty return items will incur additional shipping charges. Special Orders and Electrical Parts are not returnable. A 20% restocking charge may apply to some items.
