Our alternator is proven and fits just like your original Motorola case did (provided you are running factory accessory brackets, aftermarket accessory brackets may require modification to fit). You'll be able to get rid of the 3-wire hookup which will clean up your fender well too.
NOTE: Please check your factory alternator pulley configuration BEFORE ordering. Our alternators are available in 1-groove or 6-groove pulleys in factory diameters only. Fits 1967-1979 AMC 290, 304, 343, 360, 390, and 401 V8 engines w/factory Motorola style alternator only AND factory 1" AMC accessory bracket. Aftermarket accessory brackets may require modification for proper fitment. All sales are final and this is NOT returnable.
