About Our Company
Founded almost 20 years ago by AMC racing enthusiast Ray Pinto, American Performance Products began as a vest-pocket business in Cocoa, Florida, supplying NOS and after-market performance parts for AMX and Javelin racing enthusiasts. Over the years, as interest in these cars has grown, the company has also grown. American Performance is now the premier supplier of NOS, Reproduction and Performance Parts for virtually every model AMC car produced as well as the AMC-built Jeep CJ series and beyond, serving both the racing and restoration communitites.
Now operating from a two-story 7500 square foot warehouse in Cocoa not very far from the Kennedy Spaceport, the company serves AMC enthusiasts and collectors the globe over. American Performance stocks over 3000 individual new parts for a variety of AMC models. Often, the company contracts for the manufacture of special and obsolete parts no longer available through normal channels. Many suppliers are OEM anufacturers who originally served American Motors plants in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Others are long time manufacturers of after-market quality components. At American Performance, only the best will do, so the company does its best to keep AMC people supplied with true quality performance and restoration parts at a reasonable as well as competitive price.
Even with the vast array of parts on hand, it is sometimes necessary to turn to used parts to fill a particular need. To fill that gap, American Performance maintains 60 to 75 AMC parts cars stored at their Cocoa, Florida base. American Performance Products is able to fullfill all you AMC needs.
